role model for little kids?

at my dance studio a lot of little kids look up to me A LOT. some of them can be kind of obsessive, but it's cute. I've also babysat a couple because their parents think that if their kids love me so much, i must be good with kids. that's all good, but i've found that it's really hard to be myself with my friends when all these little kids are staring at my every move and trying to be like me. Also, i feel like if they're watching me dance in class and i mess up, i feel like i'm letting them down. I really want to keep being a good role model for these kids, so is there any way that would make that less pressure on me? lol probably not, but any suggestions? oh and i really like all of the kids that look up to me, it's really sweet, so it's hard for me to just ignore them when they're around. a lot of them want to follow me around the studio and want me to teach them things, but i don't really have time for that because of my own classes!

if you make a mistake while ur dancing, it's normal. Nobody's perfect and eventually the little kids will realize it too. Also, there are different reasons why someone could look up to you. Sure, there's being a great dancer, but also if u keep trying and never give up. You might be a role model for never giving up, but not for being perfect.

everytime they come close just smile and make sure they know that you see them and care about them

I feel your pain. I am the only older kid in my neighborhood that plays with the littler kids, and some of them follow me around all the time, haha! Just be yourself, they'll still love you!
