There is a 3 mnth rule with mascara. After 3 mnths change it. It will be very clumpy and will make your eyelashes clump together. It will not go on smooth likje it did wjen you first brought it. Also do not PUMP your mascara. Many people do this but it drys your mascara out as air gets pushed into it.

The mascara might have a "strange smell" to it. It can also be very dry and clumpy.

The shelf life of mascara is 3 months. Adding water or pumping the wand into the tube can introduce microbes that make mascara spoil faster and irritate eyes,develops clumpy consistency; brush doesn't evenly transfer mascara onto lashes

yes it will be kind of dry and really thick...and clumpy.

u should get new mascara every 3 months. it will be clumpy
