Default Best mascara?

I really want to get a decent mascara, I've got long eye lashes. But I always seem to get the wrong type of mascaras! What would be the best mascara for me? =)

Dior Show is the best mascara - it curls and adds volume - it doesnt smudge - dries quick and if you wear contacts - it doesn't irritate. Go to any department store and they will apply it for you so you can see how you like it.

Zafi duo mascara mascara is definetly the best ever, it has two coat applications and you put the white on then the black. It really has a dramatic neat effect on your eyelashes. And best of all it is selling for only 99p at Homebargains, in England, Sheffield, yorkshire. But I think you can probably find it at the same price online, as people do sometimes buy from those stores in sheffield and everywhere and then sell all over the world.. Ebay is the best for high quality, low price make up.I already have long eyelashes but like to wear darker mascara sometimes, to go with black eyeliner. It makes lashes like double what they are-real spider eyes :P hehe

My eyelashes are long too and these are some of the mascaras I think are the best for long lashes:L'Oreal VoluminousL'Oreal TelescopicMax Factor Lash PerfectionMaybelline Lash StylistI want to recommend something else I wish someone had told me about, sooner. I made the mistake of diving into wearing mascara and not using any kind of eyelash conditioner. Mascara use has the ability to really dry out your lashes so that they become brittle and break off or fall out. My mascara habits made my usually long lashes all uneven - some short and stubby, some long, some bare patches - how awful! I'm a mascara junkie and I know I use too much, and my eyes tend to water so I used to regularly wear only waterproof mascara, neither of which helped the problem! I don't want this to happen to you. Just like dry hair needs moisturizing conditioner, eyelashes, if they are prone to becoming dry, need a conditioner as well. The eyelash conditioner I use is Blinc Lash Primer - and I highly recommend it. It REALLY works. My lashes have become much healthier since I started using that (and now they are mostly all the same length, too, finally! although that's not because of the primer!). This lash primer works great under Maybelline Lash Stylist mascara. I apply the primer - enough coats to define and separate my lashes and add some volume - but make sure I comb it on - with the brush that comes with it - such that it doesn't stay white, but turns clear. (Otherwise the white can show through even with black mascara over it!) Amazingly, I don't even need to curl my lashes at all. They LOOK curled after using the primer. That primer is amazing and well worth the money you have to pay for it. Then I comb on the mascara - I hardly have to apply much mascara at all over the primer, because the primer does most of the work that the mascara would usually do - defining, separating, volumizing (in addition to moisturizing!). It works great and I'd really recommend it.
