What would make a drug screen done by urine come up positive for cocaine, I

don't use cocaine ever? I go to a methadone clinic. I've been on methadone for at least ten years. My drug screens are always clean. Although this last screen came back positive for cocaine. I'm also on other meds for high blood pressure and diabetes. The nurse at the clinic says none of my other meds would make a positive reaction like that. I'm baffled someone please help.

Poppy Seeds can make people test positive for cocaine.It's in a Seinfeld episode. Have you had a lot of poppy seed muffins or anything lately? Hope this helps

Poppy seeds would make a false positive for heroin use, not cocaine.Amoxicillin is associated with a false positive for cocaine.
