According to this mornings news, during the previous day or night, the monument was sprayed with black paint by vandals This act of vandalism is the finishing touch to the monument.The precious piece of art has suffered damage during the years by neglect, mostly by the owners, according to the news, who do not give permission for preventive measures against corrosion.
