love and the nature of life itself are the only two truths, in my opinion, worth considering deeply and honestly beautiful. love, while easily explained, is an overwhelming and amazing concept that must be felt to be truly understood. the greatest aspect of love is that even while we know exactly what causes it, we are so heavily influenced by it, and most often for the better. human emotions are a strange and wonderful thing, useful and sometimes harmful, and love is doubtlessly the greatest of them all. it is because of love that we continue to exist, for if we were uncaring and empty creatures, our fragile human bodies would not be able to sustain themselves on this earth. our social nature and psychological development is what keeps our species alive, and from these is derived the emotion love in order to keep our social needs taken care of. taking a step further back, life in itself is an amazing concept. it is one that cannot be fully explained, as with every new explanation, the question of 'why' can always be tacked onto the end and we eventually run out of answers. life is a wonderful thing that should not be taken for granted simply because it is so far outside our range of understanding. it is beyond us, and at the same time it is a part of us. the drive to live is first and foremost in any being, and it is still ultimately beyond explanation.
