How to take care of curly hair?

So, I wash my curly hair at night. Now, I know I shouldn't comb or brush my curly hair because it will cause breakage and frizz, but how would i get those knots out? Or any other suggestions to take care of curly hair?

Try using a curl defining shampoo and conditioner.. it willhelp you control the frizz and the tangles.. If not use a straightening shampoo and take some of the bounce out of your hair for better styling... As for brushing.. dont use a brush thats a little rough on curly hair try using a double spaced comb... its called a pick!http://www.myluenwan.com/img_product/205.jpg
