What are you talking about! Girls wear plenty of make up and they do their hair themselves. Women doalwaysways need tobedazzledeled to feel pretty.

cos girls realised they dont need to attract a man to get a living they can get by on there own .so thery look as they please and do as they please and we are happier for it!

You are forgetting that back them most women would stay at home and therefore would ahve lots of time to do their makeup and get their hair done - it would be an opportunity to get out of the house and see your friends.Now, with many women working, there simply is not the time.I'd love to be a stay at home person with nothing better to do than get my hair done, but i wouldn't be able to afford to eat :P

Walk around the area of London I live in- Chelsea and Kensington (I live in Chelsea) and I think you'll find people with beautifully intricate hairstyles. I often get my hair done in an Amy Winehouse-esque beehive (not as big as Amy's though); plus I go for regular blow-drys at my hairdressing salon and I go and get my eyebrows plucked.It depends on the area of the UK you live in. If you come to areas with money, you'll see some beautiful hair and make-up. People walk down Sloane Street looking like supermodels. I don't really wear make-up. I sometimes wear a bit of eyeliner, but that's about it. Lipgloss isn't nice and I didn't even think it was a signature look of the 60's.

My girlfriend spends hours on her hair and hours on her eyebrows/eyelashes! I should know i pay for her to get them doneSHE LOOKS SEXY AS F__K! : )So go find a girl that does!? There are plenty of gorgeous women out there! I don't want to say ur sad, but u r... sorry

Probably because men don't take them anywhere nice anymore, night life is all crazy music and drinking in hot clubs, an easy hairstyle I think is a sign of the times

That was in th 60's. Are we in the sixties? No.1. Why should we have to make all the effort?2. Styles Change.3. It's really expensive to buy loads of make-up, hair products. Have you heard of the credit crunch??4. More women work.5. As women work more less time to glam up.6. Men often make sexists comments at work, dress down you are more casual not as dolled up harder to make a sexist comment.7. The most important reason IT'S NOT ABOUT LOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
