Is the myth that if you cut your head hair that it will grow back even faster than it was previously?

It does not grow back faster, however, if you hair is long it might seem like it because past a certain point, breakage overcomes growth and lenght can come to a practical standstill.

no it doesn't grow faster but cutting off the dead ends will help it to grow stronger and shinier
