What's the best way to take care of your hair's ends?

i just got a choppy layered haircut, and some side bangs, i ALWAYS starighten them and i dont want my ends to split anytime or look broken, i trim ends from time to time, but is there any way to get them to look veeery nice LOL, cuz they are framing my face, i mean choppy layers, its ends everywhere.. i just want my hair to be healthy XD

I asked my hairdresser the same question...she said the best way to maintain a new hairstyle is that when you have a shower and condition your hair...rub it mainly into your ends...also when you straighten your hair lol use a protection spray...i use the brand RPR and they are great...i had a hair cut two months ago and people are still asking me if i had just got a hair cut...Hope i gave you enough information...Rachee...

trim them once a month if you want to keep them really neat; keep them conditioned and as soon as they start to split or get shaggy just trim them off. trims are pretty cheap with hairdressers. you shouldn`t straighten your hair all the time; its bad for you; but you should use a hairdryer! They curl in the ends of your hair majorly if you blowdry them enough. Use a curling brush [ a round one ] when you're drying the ends. this is healthy and your ends frame your face

keep your ends conditioned and when you apply conditioner and leave- in's, concentrate on the ends. Also, deep conditioning helps prevent split ends and always use some form of heat protection when flat ironing your hair. journeytonaturality.blogspot.com
