Scientific question on hair cutting? I was just thinking, in the past, people never cut their hair. It grew to a certain length, fell out, and started growing again. We, on the other hand, cut our hair a few times a year. When you get split ends, it is because the fibers in your hair start unraveling, like a braid. We cut our hair in order to prevent split ends. But could it be that hair that is cut unravels easier than hair that grew out from the root? Just a theory. Keep in mind, in the past, hair was probably healthier than ours, since they didn't use products or heating appliances, and it was pretty much always greasy.Oh, and for the record, I do cut my hair. So... I don't need to be reminded.I was thinking along the lines of stoneage... but yes, people have probably been cutting their hair to all times. But never trimming your hair was probably more acceptable back then, than it is now?
