I suggest you go to a department store and literally smell everything. A fragrance needs to grab you. I wear Lolita Lempicka and very few people I know have even heard of it. Testing is the best way to go.
go to walmart and look at their selection---** they have some nice smelling things and no one ever has to know you got it from there except you. .... I like the Fantasy by Brittney Spears. it doesnt have the vanilla scent you're looking for but im just saying alot of people compliment me on it and they have no clue it came from Wally World! lolgood luck .
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Lolita Lempicka... I receive a lot of compliments. I also like Princess by Vera Wang...Have you tried "Heavenly" by Victoria's Secret?? I received a sample today and it smells really good...I think this is what you are looking for. If is soft and gentle, smells like roses with baby powder. It is a lot cheaper than the designer ones.
