It depends on what her taste is. My two favs are Daisy by Marc Jacobs and CKin2U by Calvin Klein. But like I said it depends on her. Just don't get her anything from Victoria secret because there perfumes are tacky.

I'm tellin' ye, the only perfume any woman would like is the one she choses herself.

As it's for a gift I'd stick to a perfume from one of the major fashion houses, like Chanel, Dior or YSL. It just feels more special. Some of the best are Chanel Chance, Miss Dior Cherie, J'adore Dior and Babydoll from YSL.

Go to a department store and start sniffing through the options. Macy's, Belk, Dillard's, Nordstrom, Sears, JCPenney, any higher-end department store that has a makeup and perfume department will have lots of options on display and a sales staff that is willing to help you decide. Be able to give some clues, like she likes musky scents, floral scents, clean scents, etc. It would also be helpful if you had some idea of what she already has. Perfume is an individual choice and while someone thinks a scent is great, another person may think it totally reeks. Make sure when you purchase it you ask for a gift receipt...that way she can return it if she hates it.Have you considered some nice jewelry instead? Nice pair of earrings or bracelet?

As a guy I like the perfume Opium, (no relation to the drug) Without being a bit forward when I smell a perfume on a co-worker or acquaintance that I like I ask them what it is. When they tell me I compliment them on it. It gives me an idea what I like on my girlfriend. But the problem with scents is that it's so personal. there may be one that drives me wild that my girlfriend doesn't care for. If I happen to buy it for her the only time she will wear it is if i request it. Another avenue is to ask one of her girlfriends if she knows what her favorite is.Good Luck & Good Lovin
