how does a 16 year old start a career as a fashion designer??

-living in Washington-16 years old-yearned to be a fashion designer ever since age 11***practied drawing models on paper but didn't turn out that good. I've learned that I'm not a good artist. What do i do other than practice to improve?I really want this in the future..p.s. sorry for asking again, didn't get that many answers.

become a design major in college maybe take some online classes, that is the best way to get a start, maybe make your own clothes and start an annual fashion show with a few friends from school

make some sketches for the clothes you wanna make and then you can send them to co's or go in person it would be better if you went in person

Read books about sewing, buy clothing patterns and see how clothes are put together. Start doodling your designs and practice making basic clothes. There are college courses you can take ^^
